Berkeley Group is now welcoming applications for its award-winning Graduate Scheme, with opportunities available across Land & Planning, Technical, Commercial, Finance, Build, and Sales and Marketing.
Entries close on 2 January 2026 and successful candidates will start the programme in September 2026.
The two-year scheme offers graduates the chance to build a rewarding career while gaining hands-on experience on some of the UK’s most exciting urban regeneration and homebuilding projects.
Graduates begin with a week-long induction, followed by placements across different departments to help them understand the full development process. They then return to their teams to begin focused training, which can include starting a professional accreditation.
The company is committed to inspiring new talent to join the built environment sector and creating a positive work environment; fostering respect, support, wellbeing, safety and inclusivity. In 2024/25, an average of 8.7% of Berkeley employees were in earn and learn roles, reflecting the company’s long-term investment in skills development and its drive to improve access to rewarding careers in the built environment.
In 2025, Berkeley Group was named as the 17th best employer in the country for graduates. These ratings from TheJobCrowd are based on anonymous feedback from trainees.
Catherine Hawkett, Berkeley Group’s Senior Future Skills Manager, said: “We’re delighted to open applications for the 2026 graduate scheme and welcome the next generation of talent. Our graduates play a vital role in shaping the future of our sector. Supporting people at the start of their careers is a key priority for us, and we’re committed to helping every graduate and apprentice build the confidence and skills to thrive.”
Saniat Chowdhury completed the Berkeley Group graduate scheme and is now an Assistant Technical Coordinator. She said: “My experience on the graduate programme has probably been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Coming out of university, I was afraid the workplace doesn’t offer as much support that my tutors did.
“I love being independent, however, I appreciate when I am taught different processes and strategies allowing me to expand my knowledge. I have an amazing team, which have till this day been supporting me and are always teaching me new things. When I look back over the two years, the number of things which I have learnt about technical design and compliance is endless!”
