Get Living has today confirmed five further lettings at The Elephant, the new £500m Elephant & Castle town centre: food hall operator Blend Family; international fashion brand Mango; lifestyle retailer Oliver Bonas; injectables studio Injectual; and coffeehouse chain Starbucks.
Blend Family, one of the UK’s leading food hall operators, is set to open an all-day 13,951 sq ft food hall, The Elephant Exchange, in November 2026. Situated in the heart of the new town centre, the food hall will offer a curated selection of 14 independent kitchens, from global street food to comfort classics, sweet treats, casual bites and cocktails. Alongside this, there will be a bar, coffee shop and children’s play area. The new food and drink destination will also run a year-round programme of pop-up events, collaborations and cultural & community activations.
Mango has taken a 3,737 sq ft store for its signature mix of womenswear and accessories, while Oliver Bonas brings fashion, jewellery, homeware and gifts to a 3,042 sq ft unit at The Elephant.
Opening its third London studio, Injectual is the world’s first intelligent injectables studio. From a 1,419 sq ft space in the new town centre, Dr Veerle Rotsaert – a leading authority in advanced injectables – will offer customers practitioner-led injectable and skin treatments alongside its own skincare range.
Coffeehouse giant Starbucks will also open at the town centre, adding another all-day meeting spot to the growing line-up.
The new lettings follow a series of signings announced earlier this year at The Elephant.
Everyman will open a five-screen cinema with service-to-seat dining; a bar; a programme of events; Q&As; live broadcast theatre, opera and ballet screenings; and members’ events.
M&S Food will open a brand-new fresh market-style food store at the location, offering fresh produce, everyday essentials and a wide range of on-the-go breakfast, lunch and dinner choices. A dedicated Click & Collect point will also enable customers to easily collect their fashion and home & beauty online orders.
High-street favourites Pret A Manger, Superdrug and Blank Street have all signed, alongside speciality tea brand Bird & Blend, health-focused café Jungle Berry and Latin food market DistriAndina, which will relocate to the town centre from the nearby arches.
Launching in late 2026, The Elephant will be among the largest retail-led openings in Zone 1 in recent years, bringing best-in-class national brands and independents together in one destination.
Aidan Malia, Senior Director, The Elephant, said: “We’re really excited about our latest retail signings at The Elephant. From a brand new food hall from one of the UK’s leading F&Boperators, Blend Family, creating a new dining destination for London, to the first Mango and Oliver Bonas stores in the local area, The Elephant is really starting to take shape, and there is much more to come.”
Matt Bigland, Founder and CEO of Blend Family, said: “We’re thrilled to bring Blend Family to another part of London’s rapidly developing neighbourhood. It’s a huge milestone for the team. It reflects the incredible hard work and belief in building vibrant destinations to shape the future of Elephant & Castle’s cultural landscape.”
In 2027, a new University of the Arts London (UAL) campus for the London College of Communication (LCC) will open, accommodating around 5,500 students and staff. The campus will also house the UAL Archives and Special Collections Centre, bringing together extensive creative arts collections, including the Stanley Kubrick archive, and opening them up for public access.
Future plans also include a 27,800+ sq ft cultural venue created through the repurposing of part of the existing LCC building. The space will support London’s night-time economy while providing a platform for emerging creative talent.
