London is seeing a big trend in arcade and activity-themed bars, which have become a bit of a boozy playground for adults. But this Spring, a humble and hidden spot in the backstreets of Camden is one of the capital’s only pubs to offer interactive social darts.
The Colonel Fawcett is a charming, award-winning pub and food venue located away from the crowds and main hustle of Camden Town. In April, the venue will launch its brand new interactive darts and pool space on the first floor giving punters 50% off darts until 30th April.
Famous for its stunning range of craft beers, gin, and low intervention wines, the pub offers a fantastic food and drinks menu with an experimental twist. In addition, it hosts weekly events including pub quizzes and live music – and with its new activities coming this month, it’s set to be one of the most exciting hotspots in Camden. The pub also boasts the best heated beer garden in the area, covered in winter and full of sun in summer in both the front and back of the pub.
For guests looking to enjoy great grub alongside their drinks, The Colonel Fawcett has built a reputation for its restaurant-quality, award-winning food using fresh ingredients and seasonal produce. Currently serving food from the kitchen are Neapolitan pizza legends 081 Pizzeria, cooking up their iconic authentic and airy pizzas and Napoli tapas.
Pizzas on the menu include the Margherita, Truffle Mushrooms, Diavola, Maradona and the classic ‘Napoli RMX’ (San Marzano Tomato, Burrata Cheese, Anchovies, Olives and Capers). The specials are the ‘Capricciosa’ (Tomato Sauce Base, Cooked Ham, Spicy Salame, Mushrooms, Olives, Artichokes, Parmesan, Basil & EVO Oil) and the ‘Pistachiosa’ (Pistachio Pesto Base, Fior Di Latte Mozzarella, Mortadella, Burrata and Pistachio Sprinkles).
The venue’s new interactive darts will usually cost £25 for 60 minutes and £35 for 90 minutes, but with 50% off over the Easter period it will cost just £12.50 for an hour or £17.50 for 90 minutes.
