2019 marks the 35th anniversary of International wildlife charity Born Free and to celebrate it’s hosting an exclusive gala evening on Friday 6th September – The Wind of Change.
Held at the prestigious Landmark Hotel in London’s Marylebone, the star-studded evening will be a chance for guests to remember Born Free’s heritage, and for the charity to showcase its currentwork and future plans.
Virginia McKenna, renowned actress and Co-Founder of Born Free, said:
“This year is an important moment in Born Free’s history – 35 years since, together with my late husband Bill and my son Will, we started our charity. We were determined to challenge keeping wild animals in captivity and tackle the threats they face in the wild. Now our resolve is greater, our compassion grows, but none of this life-saving work is possible without you – our loyal and caring supporters. We cannot wait to share this special evening with you.”
Tickets to the fundraising anniversary event cost £185 per person and includes a drinks reception on the spectacular Garden Terrace; a three-course vegetarian dinner with wine in the Grand Ballroom; live entertainment; and a celebrity auction.
