Cadogan today announces a standout line-up of new retail signings across Sloane Street, Sloane Square and the King’s Road, including several first-to-UK store debuts. This major wave of autumn openings highlights the continued strength of physical retail and reinforces Chelsea’s status as one of the world’s leading luxury shopping destinations.
On Sloane Street, New-York based global womenswear brand Ulla Johnson will open its first international flagship at 150 Sloane Street, further establishing the Street as a preferred location for influential labels establishing a physical presence in Europe. Designed in collaboration with Italian architect and designer Giuseppe Porcelli, the space will also showcase a rotating curation of British contemporary craft through a partnership with Sarah Myerscough Gallery.
Nearby, DeMellier will open its first-ever physical store at 34–37 Sloane Square, a defining milestone for the London-founded brand that will bring the world of DeMellier to life, with its timeless handbags and dedication to exceptional craftsmanship. Their new store sits between chic Italian restaurant Martino’s (opened recently by Martin Kuczmarski, the restaurateur behind The Dover) and a new menswear store from Ralph Lauren, also set to open this month opposite their original womenswear boutique.
The King’s Road will welcome a cluster of European names making their first mark on London retail. French womenswear brand Maison 123 will open its first-ever UK physical store at 92 King’s Road, marking a defining milestone for the stylish Parisian brand. Joining them are Spanish womenswear label BYAN and Italian shoe brand BallereTTe, both opening their first UK stores on the Road. London-founded jewellery brand Otiumberg will also open their first boutique at 178 King’s Road, expanding its footprint from an existing showroom in Holland Park.
Nearby, the renowned French label, Sézane, will open a 3,319 sq. ft store at 145 King’s Road in its latest UK expansion, coinciding with a new chapter for the brand – and Art Play have opened their extended studio this month, complementing independent neighbours BookBar, Comics & Cakes and New Forms, all opened in 2025 and collectively bringing a new creative energy to the King’s Road.
This wave of signings adds to one of the most concentrated arrivals of first-to-UK European retail London has seen in recent years and highlights Chelsea’s sustained momentum and international appeal.
James Stoll, Director of Asset Management at Cadogan, comments: “London remains one of the world’s most important retail destinations, and brands increasingly seek locations that offer more than just footfall. Chelsea’s distinctive character combines international appeal with a strong local community, providing an opportunity to be part of a local destination with global reach. Following several exciting hospitality openings, including Martino’s and Brasserie Olivia on Sloane Square, it is the combination of exceptional retail, hospitality and culture that makes the area such a compelling proposition, giving brands a platform to thrive and visitors a reason to keep coming back.”
