Camden Town Brewery has today unveiled the first-look designs of its exciting plans to completely transform the North London brewery into a brand-new food and drink destination.

Set to open in Summer 2020, the development of the original Home of Hells Lager, where Camden started brewing in 2010, will feature a 50-seater restaurant, an extended taproom, outdoor drinking and dining space, a merchandise shop and new brewery tour experience.

To allow for the extensive changes, the existing Brewery Bar on Wilkins Street Mews has now closed. A temporary pop-up bar will be open on the Mews from 1st March and brewery tours will also be available from this date.

When the work is complete, guests will continue to enjoy Camden’s full range of fresh unpasteurized, beers – including Hells, Pale and Off Menu alongside its seasonal and Arch 55 Series, Camden’s smaller batch innovation.

The new brewery arches will see the arrival of Camden Town Brewery’s first full on site kitchen that will offer a fresh seasonal menu, stewarded by a fantastic local chef partner to be revealed shortly.

The site will also be home to a new immersive brewery tour experience, offering lager lovers the chance to fully experience the home of Hells – Camden’s award-winning flagship lager.
