Caridon Property, a property management and residential property specialist, has been shortlisted for not one, but two awards at the 2018 Croydon Business Excellence Awards!
The annual awards aim to celebrate the successes and achievements of the boroughs ambitious and hardworking firms, so with Caridon Property nominated not only for the ‘SME Business Excellence Award’, but also for the ‘Commitment to the Community award’, we wanted to see what made the Croydon-based property group stand out from the rest.
Based in Croydon, Caridon Property is a specialist lettings, management, and property development company, founded in 2009 by CEO, Mario Carrozzo. However, unlike many letting companies, Caridon is committed to going the extra mile in helping their tenants, who are often either homeless or from a vulnerable background. For this reason alone, it is hardly surprising, that Caridon Property has been nominated for such a prestigious award. However, it is clear that this really does, just scratch the surface.
What perhaps is refreshing to find is that this ethical focus is ingrained in their strategic approach as an organisation, and its peoples’ commitment to supporting people, extends further than just providing a roof over people’s heads, but rather going that next step, to provide real support to those who really need it. This includes everything from applying for discretionary funds, for household necessities, to working with local colleges and employers for development opportunities. This even extends as far as providing welcome packs, so that their tenants can have a cup of tea, when they first arrive in their new home.
