On June 20th, the Coca-Cola London Eye will be giving one lucky visitor and three of their friends the chance to climb aboard the world-famous attraction and sleepover within a capsule to experience the breath-taking views of the Summer Solstice, whilst elevated 135m over the heart of the city.
This celestial movement happens once a year and the iconic attraction will be marking this moment and making the most of the glorious daylight by offering visitors the opportunity to sleepover in a capsule fully decorated in a midsummer style. The suitably themed capsule will contain four single beds, alongside cushions, blanket throws, bedside tables and lamps to ensure the ticket holder and their friends feel totally at home while relaxing against the city backdrop.
Those with the sleepover ticket will board the capsule on the Thursday evening where they will be greeted by a host on the ground, and then taken onboard to enjoy snacks and boardgames alongside their friends. Staff will also be on hand throughout the night and morning to make sure the winner and guests can use the facilities on the ground.
The public can enter a ballot for the chance to purchase a ticket to this exclusive sleepover via the London Eye website from May 30th. Tickets cost £25pp. The ballot will close at 23.59 on Thursday 6th June, with the lucky winner being chosen at random and contacted on June 10th.
Alongside the opportunity to take in the city views from the comfort and surroundings of the Summer Solstice sleepover capsule, the lucky guests will then be invited to take part in an exclusive 30-minute yoga class with the awe-inspiring sunrise views as the backdrop.
