Daring celebrities were amongst the first to see The LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort’s biggest and best family Halloween party today at opening weekend of Brick Or Treat presents Monster Party.

Now open to guests throughout October, celebrities including former Made in Chelsea star, Ashley James, The One Show’s Alex Jones, along with Olympic legend, Greg Rutherford and fiancé Susie Verrill, got a first glimpse at the Resort’s monstrous makeover ahead of its month-long Halloween celebrations.

Ashley, who took to Instagram last week to announce her second pregnancy, was joined by boyfriend Tommy Andrews and the couple’s one-year old son, Alfie. The young family were greeted on arrival by LEGOLAND’s new cast of costume characters including Zombie Cheerleader who helped little Alfie get into the Halloween spirit and pose for selfies with the supersized, joke-telling LEGO® Skeleton heads.

Next up to enjoy ghoulishly good fun was BBC presenter Alex Jones, accompanied by husband Charlie Thomson and their children Teddy, five, Kit, three and daughter Annie, one. After enjoying monstrous music, rockin’ dance routines and special effects at the frightfully fun new live at Heartlake City, the family were spotted settling down to enjoy the new 4D LEGO movie ‘The Great Monster Chase!’

Bravely taking a stroll down Monster Street was Greg Rutherford and fiancé Susie Verrill, along with sons Milo and Rex and daughter Daphne. The family of five were welcomed by a group of ghoulish residents before pulling out their best monster impressions to trick the security guards on duty sniffing out human imposters at the Monster Check Point.

This year’s Brick Or Treat event runs from 1st-31st October which sees the Resort receive its most extravagant Halloween makeover to date. LEGO® inspired bats, mini pumpkins and spiders now decorate the theme park. Five new costume characters including Monster Rocker, Wolf Guy and Square Foot are on hand to meet guests and pose for selfies around the Resort, giving families plenty of picture-perfect Halloween moments.

Guests can of course enjoy all their favourite LEGOLAND rides and attractions including the must do Halloween favourite, The Haunted House Monster Party, where Lord Vampyre quite literally turns the house upside down.

Guests looking for a brick-tacular staycation can choose to sleepover in either the LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort Hotel or the LEGOLAND® Castle Hotel. Big and little monsters can enjoy extra Halloween themed activities in the hotels with amazing live entertainment including LEGO® character meet and greets. Packages start from £397* based on a family of four staying at the LEGOLAND® Hotel with breakfast and one day tickets into the theme park.
