Ahead of the release of their highly anticipated new mixtape ‘2 Ruff. Vol 1’ next month, Chase & Status have announced a huge live UK tour for 2024.
Alongside their live band and a host of special guests, the London duo will perform three major shows at Cardiff Utilita Arena on Thursday 22nd February, London Drumsheds on Friday 23rd February and Manchester O2 Victoria Warehouse on Friday 1st March.
As one of the most successful British bands of the last decade Chase & Status have achieved widespread notoriety and universal respect for their achievements. Consummate professionals at every level, Will Kennard and Saul Milton, are contemporary vanguards of UK electronic music. Together they’ve channelled their deep-rooted passion for rave culture into six highly-acclaimed, best-selling albums, an incendiary live show and a wide range of projects that have established them as an iconic outfit.
Their new mixtape ‘2 Ruff. Vol 1’ is due out on Friday 27th October and lands in the wake of 2022’s sixth studio album, the #4 charting ‘What Came Before’. The 10-track record features massive collaborations with Flowdan, Arrdee, Stefflondon and lots more.
Recent releases, ‘Baddadan’ – an underground collaborative track with Bou that features Irah, Flowdan, MC Trigga and Takura, and their single with Becky Hill ‘Disconnect’, have both simultaneously held strong positions in the Official Charts Company UK Top 10. As well as this, their track with young D&B producer Hedex ‘Liquor & Cigarettes ft. Arrdee’ has already seen commercial success. Moving into the top 40 in the first week, they currently boast three entries in the Official Top 40 UK Charts.
Merging influences from UK rave, sound system culture, hip hop, RnB, grime, punk and a myriad of other musical styles, Chase & Status have an unparalleled back catalogue of ground-breaking productions and show stopping collaborations, setting the benchmark for contemporary crossovers.
