To celebrate one of its most prestigious regulars, Cineworld is honoring renowned actor and Cineworld Unlimited member, Andrew Garfield, with a dedicated cinema seat this World Sleep Day. And excitingly, cinema-goers can experience the “Andrew Garfield” treatment themselves for one day only!
The actor, now widely recognized for flying across the big screen as The Amazing Spider-Man, used to spend time between auditions at Cineworld making the most of his Unlimited card. Reporting that it was “a really good investment”, Garfield also admitted that whilst catching up on the latest blockbusters, comfy in his seat in dark screenings, he was prone to nodding off.
With an incredible blockbuster slate of film coming out this year, combined with the special formats you can see them in, like 4DX, ScreenX, IMAX and Superscreen, falling asleep at Cineworld is no easy task. However, for one day only this World Sleep Day, you can book the seat which has been dedicated to Andrew Garfield. Alongside a special plaque commemorating the star, the seat comes with a special blanket, a pillow and free popcorn for the ultimate viewing experience.
To sit in this dedicated seat on World Sleep Day, fans will simply need to book seat number C9 in Screen 2 at Cineworld Leicester Square. The following screenings are available in Screen 2 on Friday 15th March:
