Cold Feet’s Robert Bathurst will return to the London stage with an exciting multidisciplinary double-bill, Love, Loss & Chianti, from award-winning British poet Christopher Reid, in 2020.

Featured as part of the highly anticipated relaunch of Riverside Studios in Hammersmith, Love, Loss & Chianti sees Bathurst and Rebecca Johnson (The Trip, BBC; Paper, Scissors Stone, VAULT Festival), reprise their roles in the critically acclaimed dating dramedy The Song of Lunch, alongside the premiere production of Reid’s raw autobiographical and Costa Book Award winning verse, A Scattering.

A Scattering and The Song of Lunch are bound together by the power of memories and romantic connections, capturing the bittersweet qualities of loving and losing through evocative language.

Both productions will be exquisitely illustrated with glorious animations from celebrated cartoonist Charles Peattie, bringing the internal monologues to light.
