The British Podcast Awards has today confirmed that comedian and podcaster Jake Bhardwaj will host this year’s ceremony.
The 2026 event will take place on Thursday 1st October at Indigo at The O2 in London, and marks a milestone tenth year of celebrating the best of the best in podcasting. Over 200 nominess across 29 categories including Best Interview Podcast, Best Host and Spotify’s Listener’s Choice Award, are vying to win one of the coveted trophies.
Joining the celebration is comedian and podcaster, Jake Bhardwaj, who will host this year’s prestigious ceremony. One of the most in-demand names in UK comedy and podcasting, Jake co-hosts popular podcasts including Joe Marler Will See You Now and The Pub Quiz Pod alongside fellow comedian Liam Shaw.
He is also the brains behind his own late-night variety show, Not Another Quiz Night which took Brighton and Edinburgh Fringe Festivals by storm after Jake spent nearly a decade producing some of the UK’s biggest comedy shows, including Channel 4’s The Last Leg and Late Night Lycett. Jake appeared in the critically acclaimed BBC One sitcom, Ann Droid and can currently be seen hosting the pub quiz in Joe Lycett’s new show on Channel 4, The Lycett Arms.
