Dark magic falls upon Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter this Halloween

This autumn, Warner Bros. Studio Tour London will once again embrace the darker side of the wizarding world as the fan-favourite Dark Arts feature returns with new additions, running from 16th September to 8th November 2026.

For the first time ever, six Defence Against the Dark Arts teachers introduced to fans throughout the Harry Potter films, will be displayed in the Studio Tour Hub, setting the tone for the magic that follows.

The Studio Tour’s Great Hall Dark Arts tradition will return once again with over 100 pumpkins magically floating above the Hogwarts house tables, with each Jack-o-Lantern’s expression uniquely crafted by the Prop-Making Department. Underneath the floating pumpkins lies a festive Halloween feast of sweet treats enjoyed by Hogwarts students, accompanied by the legendary ghosts of Hogwarts who like to make an eerie appearance.

Lord Voldemort’s devoted supporters and inner circle of witches and wizards, otherwise known as Death Eaters, will make the Studio Tour home this Halloween. Visitors are reminded to keep vigilant from his dangerous followers as they showcase their Dark magic throughout the tour.

New for 2026, visitors will revisit the memorable scene from Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince when Draco Malfoy opens the Vanishing Cabinet, creating a secret passageway into the school. The Studio Tour welcomes the iconic prop for a dramatic performance outside Hagrid’s Hut.

The Studio Tour’s Backlot Stage will explore the Secrets of Sound Effects with a twist fit for the Halloween season. Foley Artist, Glen Gathard and team will reveal how the wizarding world’s most atmospheric sounds are brought to life, showcasing the craftsmanship behind the dramatic and darker moments in the Harry Potter film series.

Visitors will see the symbol of Lord Voldemort and his Death Eaters throughout the Studio Tour. Those that are brave enough, are encouraged to find and follow the Dark Mark using the hints in the Studio Tour’s popular activity passport.

For those seeking the ultimate Halloween experience, the ever-popular after-hours event, NOX, will return, allowing guests to discover the magic while the Studio Tour is plunged into darkness. Guests will enjoy themed cocktails and mocktails in The Great Hall before visiting the many trick-or-treat sweet stations but are reminded to not get too comfortable as Death Eaters could storm Hogwarts at any moment.
