Discover the capital after dark at London Transport Museum’s upcoming Late

London Transport Museum in Covent Garden is opening its doors after-hours on Friday 19 May for a Museum Late inspired by London nightlife.

Dazzling West End shows and historic music venues, cosy comedy clubs, lively street performances and memorable meals from late night food vendors. London at night is a world unto itself, beloved by city dwellers and visitors to the capital alike.

London’s public transport has been at the heart of the capital’s nightlife for over 200 years, helping people access all that the city has to offer. From the first ever night bus service that started operating 110 years ago, to the introduction of the Night Tube in 2016, as well as a long-held tradition of using brilliant poster design to promote the city’s cultural attractions on the network.

London Transport Museum’s upcoming ‘London Nights’ Late will celebrate this special part of life in London, with an evening of fascinating short talks, crafts, and activities that explore the many faces of the city at night.
