DLD College London has relaunched its successful International Foundation Programme as the Foundation Programme (FP) following another year of outstanding student achievement, including a 100% pass rate.
The expanded programme, which now welcomes both UK and international students, builds on DLD’s strong track record of preparing students for leading UK universities.
The results highlight the college’s continued commitment to academic excellence, with 42% of students earning Distinctions across all pathways.
Several subject areas delivered particularly strong performances. On the Economics & Advanced Maths pathway, 75% of students achieved Distinctions, earning grades of 85% or above, demonstrating the College’s strength in quantitative and analytical disciplines. Biomedical Science students also excelled, with 67% awarded Distinctions after achieving grades of 80% or above, while 50% of Computer Science students achieved grades of 80% or higher.
Many of the departing FP students have secured places at leading Russell Group universities, where they will begin their studies in September. Their achievements highlight the transformative impact of the FP and the college’s commitment to nurturing ambition and academic confidence.
Assistant Principal and Head of Programmes, Celestine Cawley reflected, “Congratulations to all our students for their resilience, ambition and academic commitment.
