DLD College London recently welcomed representatives from 28 universities to its atrium last week for its Autumn University Fair, giving students the opportunity to meet higher education institutions face to face and explore their options for life after DLD.

Organised by the multi-award-winning school’s Head of Universities, the event was primarily aimed at Year 13 and 14 students as they work towards making their final university choices, while Year 12 students were also encouraged to attend and begin thinking about their future pathways.

The fair brought together a diverse range of leading higher education institutions, including the University of Bath, University of York, King’s College London, Imperial College London, the University of Manchester, City St George’s, University of Westminster, University of Sussex, Lancaster University, University of the Arts London (UAL), SOAS, Brunel University London and Royal Holloway, University of London, alongside many others.

Throughout the event, students had the chance to speak directly with university representatives and ask questions about degree courses, entry requirements and student life. These personal conversations provided students with valuable insight that goes beyond the information available through prospectuses and websites, helping them make informed decisions about their next steps.

James Kidd, Executive Principal at DLD College London, commented: “It was fantastic to see so many of our students making the most of the opportunity to engage directly with such a broad range of universities, all in one place. Events like our Autumn University Fair are an important part of the support we provide at DLD, helping students explore their options, make informed decisions and feel confident as they take the next step from college into higher education.”
