Empire Cinemas, the UK’s largest independently owned cinema chain, today confirmed that it will be open every day this October half term, with a great line-up of family films and Halloween scares!.
This half term, Empire Cinemas will be screening a stellar line-up of films from Dennis And Gnasher Unleashed! On The Big Screen, and sci-fi thriller Max Winslow And The House Of Secrets, to The Secret Garden starring Colin Firth and the brand new Two By Two: Overboard!.
In addition, Empire Cinemas* will screen a number of all-time favourite Halloween classics from Nightmare on Elm Street (1984), and The Evil Dead (1981), to Exorcist (Director’s Cut) and The Shining (2019 re-release), and many more with tickets priced at £5 each..
The cinema group, which currently operates 14 cinemas across the country, has implemented ’10 Ways We Are Keeping You Safer’ social distancing measures at each site. The new measures include clear one-way signage throughout, reduced capacity within the cinemas and amended film screening times to help reduce the number of customers entering or exiting simultaneously. These adjustments in addition to enhanced cleaning throughout the day will be. Face coverings are also mandatory for all unless eating & drinking with only contactless payment being accepted.
Due to the changing COVID-19 guidelines and film release schedule, Empire Cinemas are constantly assessing local markets which may result in a change to trading days and hours.
