The world’s best defenders have been left second-guessing as Madame Tussauds London unveils the first-ever figure of England Men’s Football captain and international sporting icon, Harry Kane MBE, joining the all-star sporting figure line-up from Friday 5 June as the nation gears up for a summer of football.
Footage released today captures the moment Harry came face-to-face with his striking resemblance in Greater London for the first time – and he didn’t need VAR to notice the details. From the twinkle in the eyes, to the pitch ready taped hand and wedding ring, Harry spotted the finer points before giving the figure his final seal of approval.
Created in close collaboration between Harry and Madame Tussauds London’s highly-skilled studio team, the FC Bayern Munich striker’s likeness was crafted over six months of colour checks and measurements, ensuring a precise finish befitting one of the game’s most reliable finishers. The matchday-ready figure is complete with new-for-May 2026, Skechers SKX_2 Elite World Cup boots, and the official England Men’s FIFA World Cup 2026 home shirt – the same outfit Harry will wear at the tournament.
On the launch of his first-ever Madame Tussauds London figure, Harry Kane MBE said: “It was a real honour to get the call from Madame Tussauds. It’s one of those things that you never expect to happen. London is a special place for me, and I’ve lived here pretty much my whole life, so it’s the perfect city to have my first figure – it feels like a true full-circle moment. Seeing the final result was a special moment; the eyes are so realistic, and they even remembered the tape on my wedding finger that I kiss to celebrate when I score a goal- it’s like looking in the mirror! My wife, Kate, and my four kids came down to the unveiling, and it was a proud moment for us all. The studio team have put so much care into every detail. It’s definitely strange looking at yourself like that, but I’m really pleased with how it turned out. I can’t wait for young fans to pose next to figure-version of me in London, and I hope seeing this will inspire children to keep working hard, believing in themselves and enjoying every moment of the journey.”
To make the unveiling in Harry’s hometown even more special, a select group of players from Ridgeway Rovers in Walthamstow, North London – the team Harry first played for aged six – were the first to see the new figure and give it their stamp of approval. They celebrated alongside his likeness in an inspirational nod to the striker’s first club.
