Evans Cycles, the UK’s leading specialist bike retailer, is set to open its
latest store at Southside Shopping Centre in Wandsworth, London, reasserting its
ambition to reimagine the modern cycling retail experience.
The new 3,500 sq. ft. store features two floors showcasing over 160 bikes alongside a
carefully curated selection of the world’s best cycling brands.
At the heart of the new location is a fully-stocked Service Centre powered by Cytech-
trained mechanics. Tailored to the needs of busy city riders, the expert team is equipped
to handle everything from quick fixes and major servicing to Brompton-accredited repairs.
The store’s arrival signals Evans Cycles’ renewed commitment to serving riders seeking
performance-tier models alongside its trusted options for every type of cycling discipline.
Customers will find a range of the newly relaunched Vitus brand, as well as dhb and
ranges from familiar partner brands including Trek, Specialized, Cube, Brompton, Frog,
and Endura.
Evans Cycles is also proud to be part of the E-bike Positive accredited retailer scheme,
offering and servicing consumer-safe electric bikes.
Robert Bentley, Managing Director of Evans Cycles, commented:
“Our goal with this new London store is simple: to make cycling more accessible to
everyone by bringing expert support and the world’s best brands right to the high street.
By combining a fantastic range of bikes with top-tier, accredited servicing, we’re
delivering an in-store experience that inspires confidence in city riders at every stage of
their journey.”
Shannon Reed, Centre Director at Southside Shopping Centre, said:
“The opening of Evans Cycles is an exciting addition to our growing retail mix.
Wandsworth already has a thriving cycling community, and we’re confident the new store
will be a welcome destination for cycling enthusiasts, commuters and families alike.
“By bringing a nationally recognised cycling brand to the heart of the borough, Evans
Cycles enhances Wandsworth’s reputation as a place that supports active travel, healthy
lifestyles and high-quality retail experiences.”
As with all Evans Cycles locations, the London store will offer a range of finance options,
the government-backed Ride to Work scheme, and a convenient Click & Collect service
— allowing customers to browse online and collect in-store with expert handover and
setup.
The opening is part of Project 100, Evans Cycles’ long-term plan to open 100 new stores
across the UK in the coming years.
The new store will be open from 30th July and can be found at 8 Garratt Lane,
Wandsworth, London, SW18 4TF.
This new wave of store openings highlights Evans Cycles’ ongoing investment in physical
retail as a central pillar of its growth strategy, ensuring riders nationwide can access
expert advice, trusted servicing, and an unrivalled choice of bikes and accessories under
one roof.
