Locals look forward to celebrating one of Everest Inn’s most significant and most recognised annual events, Diwali. It’s not just their authentic, home-style award-winning Nepalese cuisine that has obtained their recognition in the community and further afield, but their celebrated annual events. Due to such high demand, they have extended their event to two days this year.

Set to return on Monday, 6th and 7th November 2023, Everest Inn will open its doors to join with friends and family in celebrating The Festival of Lights, a festival extremely close to their hearts.

The Diwali night will run from 6.30 pm onwards. Upon arrival, guests will be greeted with authentic tokens; ladies, a bindi and traditional scarf and, for the men, a Dhaka Topi (a traditional Nepali hat recognised as part of the national dress). The evening will start upstairs in the open-plan restaurant with views over the Heath before heading downstairs for a candlelit three-course exclusive menu inspired by the flavours of Nepal.

Dishes will include both meat and vegetarian options and be a celebration of the different Nepalese region’s cuisines. Guests will also have the opportunity to try some of the fine wines available and Nepalese beer or non-alcoholic beverages. The vibrant celebrations will also include light entertainment and a mesmerizing traditional performance from a Diwali dancer.

Monday 6th and Tuesday 7th November at Everest Inn Tickets – £95 pp
