Residents and visitors alike can now download the LoyalFree app for Fitzrovia in London to help them find local businesses, events, special deals and discover more about what the area has to offer.

The Fitzrovia LoyalFree app helps connect local people with what is happening around them. It gives them access to exclusive discounts from local businesses, as well as keeping them up to date on events, and helping them discover food trails (including those for people with special dietary needs), dog friendly cafes, and eco-friendly businesses.

The multi award-winning app, LoyalFree, was designed by Jason Nesbitt and Sophie Hainsworth with aim of helping to boost high street footfall and enable people to shop locally. The app is rapidly expanding across many UK high streets and pulls together all the vital information for an area, allowing users to benefit from using just one app for the whole of the UK.

You can even store all your loyalty cards within the app – so no need to hunt through your purse for bits or paper, and you’ll be sure never to miss a loyalty stamp ever again.

Users can find local businesses, search for a business by type or by name, or they can look for special offers nearby, or follow a pre-designed trail taking them to eateries offering, for example, vegan or gluten free dining. They can even search for dog-friendly cafés or great places to take the children during the school holidays. The app also provides a local guide to help visitors with vital tourism information, while an events section showcases activities in the area.

The app also regularly hosts flash competitions – enter with just one click and win prizes from local businesses, from gym memberships and luxury hampers to restaurant vouchers.

“Our aim is to make it easy for people to support their high street. This is good for the local area, for the Fitzrovia (and wider London) economy and for residents and visitors. Most people want to shop locally – but they are not always aware of what is on their doorstep and there are few mechanisms that allow small businesses to reach new people with special offers and exclusive deals. This is where LoyalFree can really help.” said co-founder Jason Nesbitt.

The app is available in Fitzrovia in partnership with the Fitzrovia BID team.
