FIVE GUYS DROPS SECOND MERCH LINE WITH POTATO FARM SHOOT TO MARK 10 YEARS IN UK

American burger brand Five Guys, famed for its made-to-order burgers and hot dogs, signature fries and irresistible milkshakes, is set to drop the second collection of its highly anticipated Five Guys merch line to coincide with the 10-year UK anniversary. The drop, which includes a reversible bucket hat, sliders, a summer co-ord set, as well as a new hoodie design and t-shirts, was modelled by restaurant staff and shot at one of the farms where Five Guys source their potatoes, paying homage to the brand’s commitment to fresh produce.

In a nod to the fact that Five Guys always look to source the freshest, highest quality produce, often working with British farmers to supply restaurants across the UK, the photoshoot took place at a farm in Nottinghamshire, which is one of the brand’s trusted potato suppliers. Known for their salted and Cajun-style options, Five Guys use ‘Innovator’ potatoes for their cult-favourite fries; this is a leading variety from which only the best spuds, grown in the most optimal locations, are selected for to be used in restaurants. These are then packaged into bags and stacked inside Five Guys’ stores across the country, where they are then hand-cut fresh every day for the best taste and crisp factor.

Whilst the first collection ‘Arlington 1986’ focused on the Americana style that has taken runways by storm, the new ‘checkerboard’ collection is about championing the iconic, instantly recognisable red-and-white checkerboard tiles in all Five Guys restaurants. Whether opting for the print as detailing on caps and hoodies or going maximal for the full-on chequered reversible bucket hat and co-ord, foodies and fashionistas across the UK can now wear their love for Five Guys on their sleeves – or indeed heads, feet, or chests – as seen on celebs including Derek Chisora, who have jumped on the Five Guys merch wagon from the very first collection.

The full range includes sliders, sunglasses, a reversible bucket hat, an iconic checkerboard summer co-ord as well as long and short sleeve t-shirts featuring the classic Five Guys print, with all pieces available to buy online from July 4th, 2023.
