South London sourdough specialists, Four Hundred Rabbits Pizza, famed for their nifty neighbourhood spots and award-winning pizzas, have unveiled their latest location in Battersea Rise. The new 55 cover site is set to welcome pizza enthusiasts starting mid-July.
The new Battersea Rise site will offer their very own ‘hutch-made’ seasonal gelato and sorbets – think organic milk, alphonso mango and salted caramel & peanut. Alongside craft beer from local breweries, natural wines, and cocktails including their famed frozen margaritas and real fruit slushies. Signature sourdough pizzas will include:
The Feta: mozzarella, courgette, feta, salsa verde and toasted pine nuts
The Chorizo: Brindisa Iberico Chorizo, pickled red chillies, fresh basil, tomato and mozzarella
The Rhubarb: chipotle rolled goats cheese, piquillo peppers, tomato, mozzarella and Rhubarb
The menu will also showcase their South London Session series featuring collaborations with local collectives.
Battersea rise will follow in the footsteps of previous locations, featuring cosy interior vibes with plenty of foliage, and an outdoor terrace.
Founded by brother duo Daniel and Duncan Edwards, Four Hundred Rabbits’ stellar reputation comes using only the best ingredients for toppings and 100% sourdough bases. Certified by the real bread campaign, their pizzas contain no yeast and involve a fermentation process of three days or more. This means easy digestion, a crust that is somehow both fluffy and crispy, providing the perfect tangy bite.
