FUJIFILM’S HOUSE OF PHOTOGRAPHY CREATES AN ARCTIC ADVENTURE IN THE HEART OF LONDON

0

Opening its doors on 16th November at The House of Photography, FUJIFILM today announces its Arctic Adventure* photo experience, making festive memories in the heart of London. Visitors to the free experience will walk through a series of stunning arctic moments – when you enter the first floor, beware of broken ice. The giant shard protrudes from the ground, illuminated and reflective, making it perfect for the selfie of the day. Then, it’s onto the winterscape snowy scene with space for a beautiful group shot, perfect for this year’s Christmas card.

Journeying through, a giant film frame floating in the air creates the snow paper portrait area and has an eye-catching, minimalist backdrop, to make this photo moment even more special.

There’s a light show up next, in the winter’s suns spot. Three colourful spotlights will project visitors’ silhouette onto a wall for dreamy results. But there’s still more lighting wonder to come, behind the northern lights curtain. This interactive visual display brings all the magic of the Aurora Borealis, just moments from Covent Garden.

Nearby, the mirrored wall is set up for stunning spotlight reflections and then it’s just a short walk to the life-size snow globe. Hop in, set a timer on your camera or smartphone outside, then get set to be miniaturised in photo form.

Finally, brave youngsters and fun-loving adults won’t want to miss the yeti’s den. Dive in to get interactive with the biggest, furriest pair of feet you’ll ever see!

Visitors can browse X Series, GFX System and instax products, create professional print gifts and Christmas cards of their festive images, as well as find convenient print kiosks dotted throughout the experience to bring their photos to life instantly.

In addition, with homelessness set to jump by a third by 2024 due to the cost of living crisis, FUJIFILM has chosen to partner with Centrepoint as part of this activation to help with their effort to provide accommodation and support to homeless people aged 16–25 within London. FUJIFILM is making a donation of £5,000 as well as including pay points throughout the activation to encourage optional donations to the charity.
Entry is free at The House of Photography, 8-9 Long Acre, London WC2E 9LH. For more information, please visit https://www.fujifilm-houseofphotography.com/.
