On Thursday 10th September, GALAXY® is opening the UK’s tiniest bakery – the size of Galaxy’s NEW chocolate bars Millionaire Crumble and Cinnamon Swirl, at Greek Street from 5pm-7pm, giving commuters a chance to enjoy a little moment of indulgent escapism on their journey home.
To celebrate the launch, baking star and bestselling author Kim-Joy will officially open the doors of the GALAXY®’s flagship bakery, greeting commuters as they make their journey home.
This comes, as new research reveals that nearly half (48%) of Brits consider their commute to be the only guaranteed uninterrupted ‘me time’ in their working day, the miniature bakery has been created as a playful pit stop amid the rush-hour hustle.
When asked about the everyday moments they value during a busy weekday, an unexpected treat (20%) ranked just behind receiving a thoughtful message from a loved one (21%), while 16% said enjoying a favourite snack was among their most valued small pleasures.
