Salon Privé London will once again play host to its much-anticipated Ladies’ Day, taking place on Friday 17 April at the iconic Royal Hospital Chelsea. In partnership with Gatineau, the day will welcome up to 4,000 guests for a celebration of style, sophistication and standout occasion dressing, as the lawns are transformed into one of London’s most elegant open-air showcases of fashion.
While Salon Privé is synonymous with world-class automotive design, Ladies’ Day has become its most stylish expression, where fashion takes centre stage and guests themselves become part of the spectacle. From statement hats to carefully curated ensembles, the event offers a rare opportunity to dress with intent and creativity in a truly iconic setting.
A defining moment of the day is the Best Hat Competition, where guests are invited to showcase their creativity and personal style. The winner will receive a year’s supply of Gatineau skincare worth £1,000, alongside Pommery Champagne, an overnight stay for two at the Homewood Hotel & Spa including dinner and breakfast, and a Collagene Plumping Expert Facial.
Further elevating the prize, L’Objet will present its Rose Noire Porcelain Diffuser Set. Renowned for its craftsmanship and design-led home fragrance collections, the brand adds an additional layer of refinement to this exceptional prize package, perfectly complementing the indulgent experience at Homewood.
Ladies’ Day has become a cornerstone of the Salon Privé London experience, as guests are encouraged to embrace timeless elegance with a contemporary twist, with inspiration available via the official Style Guide, ensuring the lawns of Royal Hospital Chelsea are as visually striking as the cars on display.
The competition continues to attract a loyal following of returning guests and millinery enthusiasts. Among them is 2024 winner of the Best Hat competition Kazz O’Neill, who reflected on her experience: “I plan my outfit a couple of months in advance. Once I am happy, I go to my fabulous milliner GH Millinery to work on my hat. I love this creative process and Gemma is so talented and full of great ideas, and she always nails the brief. Winning was the cherry on the top of a fabulously unforgettable day when I attended in 2024. Looking forward to seeing it all this year.”
From couture inspired looks to bold and modern interpretations of occasionwear, Ladies’ Day offers a unique opportunity for guests to express their individuality in one of London’s most prestigious settings. Set against a backdrop of world class automotive design, fine dining and premium hospitality, the event continues to attract a discerning audience of tastemakers, collectors and luxury consumers.
Andrew Bagley, Chairman and co-founder of Salon Privé, said: “Ladies’ Day has become one of the standout moments of Salon Privé London. It captures everything the event represents, including elegance, creativity and a real sense of occasion. We’re delighted to partner with Gatineau this year and look forward to welcoming guests who bring such energy and style to the lawns of the Royal Hospital Chelsea.”
