Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice is excited to announce preparations are underway for the welcomed return of their Colour Run Party, which will be taking place at Danson Park, Bexleyheath, on Sunday 25th of September.

Runners can expect to be covered in colourful clouds of paint as they walk, run or jog around the 5k route. A huge paint party will follow this as runners cross the finish line and collect their medals. Everyone signing up for the Colour Run Party will also get a pair of sunglasses and one paint pouch for the paint party. All funds raised at the event will be going to Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice, allowing them to continue supporting people with terminal illnesses and their families. Tickets are still available for anyone wanting to take part!

The fun will start at 10 am, with various entertainment throughout the day. The local band, M.T. Pockets, also known as the Power Trio of the South East, will bring the finest of Funk, Soul and Rock & Roll to Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice’s Colour Run finish line party.

Runners can prepare for the 5k with the help of a warm-up crew who, along with the live entertainment, will help to gear everyone up for the run. Colour Run Party merchandise will also be available to everyone at the event.

Events Manager, Augusta Adu, said: “The team at Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice and I are so excited to be going ahead with our Colour Run Party event again; it’s such a fun day for all to enjoy. Every penny raised by the event means so much to us here at the hospice. Fundraising events are at the heart of our organisation.”

The party, which is sponsored by Wincanton Charlton/Thameside, will boast a selection of street food stalls, bouncy castles, arts & crafts, pocket money toys and giant lawn games. Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice’s superstar Face Painter, Maxine, will create beautiful masterpieces at the event. What better way is there to end your summer?

Now is a great time to sign up and make the most of the early bird ticket price of £18 per adult, £12 per child and £56 per family (two adults and two children under 16). Register online at www.communityhospice.org.uk/support-us/events/colour-run/
