The skies above Hammersmith and Fulham will light up with a sensational new eco- and pet-friendly alternative to fireworks this Guy Fawkes.

The innovative Lights and Laser Spectacular shows at Ravenscourt and Bishops Parks are part of Fawkes Festival and are being staged in partnership with the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham.

Designed and produced by the team at GC Live and delivered by technical partners, 21CC Group –– the festival promises an action-packed, environmentally and animal-friendly evening for all the family.

Themed around ‘A Night at the Movies’, the shows feature a thrilling immersive light and laser display with sky trackers, flames and special effects all choreographed to a soundtrack of light and laser-themed film scores and classic movie music.

Before and during the series of light shows, which will be on the 3rd and 4th of November at both Ravenscourt Park and Bishops Parks, spectators will be able to enjoy a range of exciting entertainment from funfair rides to catering, bubble performances, LED Stilt walkers, Neon face painting, interactive experiences and more.

Billed as a unique new way to experience Guy Fawkes night, the London events are a green alternative to the traditional fireworks using new laser technology – and the Borough’s first Guy Fawkes event since 2018.

Geoff Crow, Director of 21CC Group said, “Since the pandemic, there have been virtually no big shows like this around the country but we’re bringing Guy Fawkes back as a totally new, equally exhilarating experience.

“And we’re delighted to be able to deliver this sustainably focussed version of a Guy Fawkes spectacular which still features all the fun and thrills of a traditional event but echoes Hammersmith & Fulham’s environmental values and vision.”

There will be three displays at the parks each evening with the gates opening at 3.30 pm for visitors to enjoy the pre-show atmosphere, entertainment, food and drink. The first show is scheduled for 6 pm, the second at 7 pm and the final showcase at 8 pm. Tickets cover full access to all showings and the park gates will close at 10 pm.
