The Duke and Duchess of Sussex captured the nation’s attention with the news that they are to return to the United Kingdom after more than six years in the United States. To mark their shock return, Madame Tussauds London has anticipated what their arrival back to British soil could look like by moving their figures temporarily to the British Culture Capital Zone, with suitcases in arms and posing next to a Royal Guard.
Ali King, Head of Operations at Madame Tussauds London, said: “With the surprise news that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are returning to UK shores, we wanted to mark the occasion at Madame Tussauds London. Dressed to impress, they’ll be joining an incredible line-up of British icons, from Sir David Attenborough and Harry Kane to William Shakespeare and many more, making it quite the star-studded British reunion!”
Harry and Meghan’s figures have been captured alongside the Baker Street attraction’s Royal Guard to mark their arrival back into British life. Guests are invited to visit Madame Tussauds London and greet the Sussex’s figures ahead of the family’s arrival to the UK later this month.
