Inside 2021’s Annual Global Youth Awards

In a world where it seems all are absorbed merely in celebrity lifestyles, enamored with who is dating who and the latest fashion trends, that often times the ones actually making an impact in the world can be missed. RoundTable Global however, is changing the societal trends with the Annual Global Youth Awards. Held for the ninth consecutive year, the RoundTable Global Youth Awards received nominations from over 35 different countries this year, making it a truly global celebration of young people doing good in the world.

The awards were presented online for the second year in a row due to the ongoing pandemic, celebrating twelve young people worldwide, including performances by young people. The awards, which are run by young people for young people, celebrate youth change makers that are making a difference under Three Global Goals of: Empowerment, Education, and the Environment and include a category of creativity for those raising funds or awareness through art.

All young people involved will have the opportunity to join RoundTable Global as Global Youth Ambassadors after the awards ceremony, giving them access to the global youth network. Many will become hosts, judges, and performers at the following awards ceremony and access other opportunities through the network.

Tiffany Kelly, a founding partner of Roundtable Global, has become laser focused on empowering and balancing the world. She has hosted TEDTalks, women’s empowerment workshops and has spoken at many other inspiring events.

“The Global Youth Awards aim to provide a platform for amazing, inspiring, and extraordinary young people who are stepping out of their comfort zone, who are out of what is expected of them, who are doing great things to make a difference in their communities and their environment,” explains Tiffany Kelly.

The other incredible founder and backbone of Roundtable Global is the inspirational rockstar, Tanith Harding. Together, these sisters are uniting our youth worldwide to create impactful change.

We are so delighted to have had nominations from 35 different countries this year. All of the finalists are absolutely incredible and we will be following up with each of them to see what support we can offer them. Our twelve winners  are really excited to have been recognised and come from eight different countries, which really shows our commitment to creating the largest global collaboration for youth empowerment and development the world has ever seen. At a time when we are all having to stand still, our young people are still able to come together as #oneglobalyouth. We look forward to working with them all and see them continue to create instrumental change in the world.
