Inside The Seven Dials Winter Festival

From Friday 19th – Sunday 21st November 2021, The Seven Dials Winter Festival takes over the streets of Seven Dials for three days of shopping, dining and merriment. Ticket holders* can expect an array of festive on-street entertainment, creative workshops, late night shopping and exclusive discounts to welcome Christmas shoppers to the streets of London’s West End.

The festival line-up will feature everything from traditional brass bands and gospel choirs, to complimentary glitter stations and wreath making, and even a pop-up pantomime. Mulled wine carts, hot chocolate stations and festive food will line the streets, with everything from s’mores and roasted chestnuts to roast turkey pizzas and Alpine wines, all complemented by our festive light installation and in-store offers from some of your favourite independent and flagship brands.

Rediscover the joys of Christmas shopping across the cobbled streets of Seven Dials as this atmospheric West End village is illuminated for the festive period. Watch the lights sparkle for our charity partner, Young Camden Foundation when a donation is made at the Neal’s Yard Festive Arch on Monmouth Street. All donations go towards supporting our local, younger generation over the festive period by addressing longstanding and complex issues, such as digital poverty, youth safety, and mental health.

Festival Line-Up

Watch Seven Dials take centre stage as we bring three days of live performances, complimentary activities and festive productions to the heart of London’s West End. On Friday evening, visitors can enjoy the soulful sounds of John Fisher and the IDMC Gospel Choir, bringing upbeat harmonic melodies to Earlham Street, whilst creating their own Christmas Wreath and eating delectable roasted chestnuts.

On Saturday, Seven Dials welcomes culinary expert and TV personality Gizzi Erskine (@gizzierskine) as our headline act. Partnering with the duo behind the unique hotdog-style doughnut brand, Longboys, Gizzi will unveil her ‘Festive Longboy’ at Seven Dials Market, giving visitors the chance to join her culinary masterclass to fill and decorate their own Longboy with her personal festive flavours.

On Sunday, bag yourself a ticket to the live podcast recording at The Donmar Warehouse with body confidence advocate and entrepreneur, Alex Light (@alexlight_ldn). Alex will be speaking to body image campaigners Laura Adlington and Karina to discuss body confidence during this upcoming festive season, including a whistle stop style guide, their favourite beauty hacks and top tips for shopping more consciously this Christmas. Throughout the day, enjoy a winter stroll to the sound of classic Christmas tunes played by the London brass band. The musical ensembles will fill the streets with festive classics to accompany a Sunday of leisurely Christmas shopping.

Keep an eye out for our daily pop-up pantomimes, live music and spoken word, roasted chestnuts, roaming illustrators, glitter makeover stations and wreath-making workshops that will be dusting the streets with Christmas cheer all weekend. Ticket holders will also be welcomed to enjoy late night shopping with a complimentary tipple from the Seven Dials Prosecco truck from 5-7pm each evening.*
