JOIN BEAR GRYLLS FOR AN EVENING IN SUPPORT OF AFRICAN CONSERVATION

0

Join global adventurer Bear Grylls for an evening of inspiration as he chats with Charlie Mayhew OBE to share stories from his remarkable years as an adventurer: from climbing Everest and his time with 21 SAS, to Running Wild with Presidents and Prime Ministers. With all ticket profits going towards Tusk, an African conservation charity which Bear is a proud Ambassador of, it promises to be an incredible and captivating evening with a true adventure icon.

WHERE: The Royal Geographical Society, 1 Kensington Gore London SW7 2AR
WHEN: Fri, 8 Dec 2023 18:30 – 21:30
TICKETS: www.eventbrite.co.uk, from £20.00

Suitable for kids and adults alike, the evening will be inspiring and uplifting and will resonate with everyone who has ever dreamt of adventures in the great outdoors. As Chief Scout to 57 million, Bear has led expeditions to all corners of the globe. Joining as a soldier in the British Special Forces in his younger years, Bear went on to become one of the youngest ever climbers of Mt Everest, despite breaking his back in a free-fall accident only months earlier. From Everest, he has gone on to host more extreme adventure TV shows across more global networks than anyone else in history.

Bear Grylls is a passionate Ambassador for Tusk and a true champion of conservation. All proceeds from the evening will be directly invested in supporting Tusk’s work across the African continent, from finding sustainable solutions to preserve critical habitats and protecting endangered species, to combating the illegal wildlife trade and empowering local communities to promote environmental education.

Choose between two ticket options: lecture only (7-8pm, £20.00 + Eventbrite fees, all ages welcome) or the lecture and drinks reception (7-9.30pm, £45.00 + Eventbrite fees, aged 14+ only).
