The Mall, Wood Green is excited to announce that internationally-renowned doughnut company and coffee shop, Krispy Kreme, is launching at the shopping centre on Thursday 27 June.
The hugely popular American chain surprised lucky shoppers by giving away complimentary doughnuts at a pre-launch event on Friday 14 June. Passers-by queued from City Square to the Mall’s main entrance to grab a mouth-wateringly delicious doughnut.
In celebration of the new store’s arrival at The Mall Wood Green, Krispy Kreme has planned a special launch event, which will kick off at 10am with an introduction by Craig Evans, Krispy Kreme’s UK New Store Openings Manager, ably assisted by the company’s mascot.
With giveaways galore, the first three customers will receive Krispy Kreme gift cards, while others will get branded goodie bags. Shoppers will be able to sample the store’s sweet treats and take part in a themed Buzz Wire game. Any winners of the game will be rewarded with a box full of Krispy Kreme doughnuts.
With huge queues expected on the day, The Mall is warning customers to come early.
The new store, which will be located between Ernest Jones and Boots on the ground floor of The Mall, is sure to attract hoards of shoppers, explains Gwendolyne Lobo, The Mall’s Marketing Manager: “Krispy Kreme is going to be a great addition to The Mall. Given the fantastic reaction from our customers at the pre-launch giveaway, we have no doubt whatsoever that the store is going to be extremely popular.”
