Livat Hammersmith is inviting the local community to put themselves first this autumn with a free eight week group coaching programme designed to build confidence, wellbeing and practical skills.
Running from Friday 16 October to Friday 4 December 2026, the programme continues Livat’s partnership with somatic therapist and coach Aliyah Ali, giving adults across Hammersmith and Fulham access to practical tools and support for personal and professional development.
Across eight weekly sessions, participants will explore topics including limiting beliefs, building confidence through action, managing stress and anxiety, identifying transferable skills and setting achievable goals. The sessions are designed to help participants develop practical tools they can use in their everyday lives, while gaining greater clarity around their strengths, values and interests.
The programme will also focus on key employment skills including communication, teamwork, problem solving, work ethic and leadership. Alongside the practical learning, sessions will provide a supportive space for participants to connect with others, share experiences and build confidence.
Aliyah said: “We can’t think our way out of stress. We have to feel our way through it too. Every session starts with the breath and the body before we get to goals and action plans, because when people feel calmer and more grounded, confidence follows. Bringing that to Livat, right in the heart of Hammersmith, means it’s there for the people who need it most, right on their doorstep.”
The programme is open to adults aged 18+ in the Hammersmith and Fulham community, with a particular focus on those who may benefit from additional support, including people who are unemployed, disabled, single parents, refugees and those from lower socioeconomic backgrounds. It is also open to anyone who is lacking confidence, navigating a career or life transition, looking for greater direction, or experiencing stress, anxiety or emotional difficulties.
Memo Hussein, Meeting Place Manager for Livat Hammersmith said: “Supporting our local community is at the heart of what we do. This programme brings together wellbeing, confidence and employability, because they’re so closely connected. By making it free and running it at Livat, we hope to reach people who might not otherwise have access to this kind of support.”
Sessions run weekly from 11am to 1pm in the Livat Hammersmith. The programme is free, but spaces are limited and must be booked in advance. Book your free space here.
