Local families supported by the children’s charity Barnardo’s left no pin standing to help unveil Hollywood Bowl Finchley’s new £200,000 makeover.
The families were invited by the centre located on Leisure Way to officially bowl the first ball at the new look bowling and entertainment centre in Finchley which has completed just in time for families to score a ‘Turkey’ during the Christmas school holiday season.
The centre now features 26 revamped bowling lanes, including four state-of-the-art VIP lanes with the décor inspired by Tinsel Town featuring icons from movies past and present who take front row seats as friends and family show off their ten pin bowling skills as they battle it out to the top of a digital leader board thanks to an innovative scoring system.
All that competitive socialising can be hungry work which is why guests who visit the centre can also enjoy its American style bar and diner featuring a selection of tasty food and drinks, from classics such as hot dogs, burgers, shakes and signature cocktails on offer.
And for any guests wishing to keep the competitive spirit going, Hollywood Bowl’s famous amusement area offers leading games as well as all time family favourites such as air hockey and racing games.

The revamped Hollywood Bowl Finchley will open earlier than usually, from 9am throughout the festive school holidays, except Boxing Day on Monday 26th December and New Year’s Day on Sunday 1st January when it will be open from 10am.
It will also be open from 9am on Saturdays and Sundays from 10th December. Early bird guests can even get 25% off games booked and bowled before 11am when using the early bird code, details on which can be found on their website.
