Anna Burdzy, 25, from Leicester will be departing on Saturday for Las Vegas to represent Great Britain at the international finals of Miss Universe on 26 November 2017. The competition hosts contestants from over 100 countries.
Becoming Miss Universe is not only about being beautiful, but more about being able to influence and inspire women across the world.
Anna, is sure to impress the Miss Universe judges as she is currently completing her Masters Degree in Human Rights Law at Nottingham University, with sights of working for the United Nations.
Anna commented “my career in Human Rights Law goes hand in hand with what it means to be Miss Universe, and I would love to not only represent my country proudly on an international level, but winning the title and crown would be a platform to raise awareness of the fundamental and basic rights we have as humans.”
