London Cocktail Week Is Back With A Bang: 1 – 7 October

London Cocktail Week (1-7 October) is back with a bang and promises to be bigger and better in its ninth year running. To accommodate the growing number of visitors to the festival, the team has moved the heart of the festival, The Cocktail Village, to a new location at The Old Truman Brewery on Brick Lane. Running from 3-7 October, this year’s festival pass holders will be treated to FREE entry, giving those with a passion for a mixed drink even easier access to signature cocktails from some of the world’s best bars.

A first for 2018, London Cocktail Week will also be offering VIP packages for cocktail fans to have access to fast track entry to The Cocktail Village, a free drink, and access to special VIP only areas.

Festival passes are on sale now at DrinkUp.London and for just £10 drinks enthusiasts can soak up the city’s delectable spirits, enjoy pop-up cocktail bars, unlimited £6 cocktails, parties and more.

London Cocktail Week is the world’s biggest cocktail festival attracting more than 25,000 visitors in 2017. Brought to life by the team at DrinkUp.London, the festival is set over seven days and celebrates the spirit of the city’s cocktail scene by giving festival pass holders access to an outstanding collection of London’s award-winning bars, bartenders and cocktail culture.

THE COCKTAIL VILLAGE NEW VENUE: THE OLD TRUMAN BREWERY (Open: 03 – 07 October)

The Cocktail Village is at the heart of London Cocktail Week, bringing an unmissable collection of signature cocktails from some of the world’s best bartenders all served up for £6.

The new site on Brick Lane ill play host to three spaces jam-packed with all of the best creative cocktails the capital has to offer from the biggest names in drinks. This year there will also be a new space showcasing smaller and exciting emerging brands from all around the UK.

Visitors can expect to see more pop-up cocktail bars and bigger experiences, as well as tasting delicious street food. New for this year, The Cocktail Experiments will also give guests the chance to learn about the craft of cocktail-making and how to create the perfect version of their favourite cocktail.

THE DRINKUP.LONDON APP

Make sure not to miss a drop of the action during London Cocktail Week by downloading the free DrinkUp.London app. Festival goers will have access to the whole festival at the palm of their hands, no wristbands needed!

The app shows each bar’s signature drink and users can search for bars to visit by area or type. The personalised photograph allows all festival pass owners to simply flash their digital pass for fast and easy access to £6 signature cocktails all week long.

 

MASTERCLASSES AND MORE

In addition to The Cocktail Village, London Cocktail Week is also made up of a timetable of unmissable parties, masterclasses and supper clubs suitable for everyone, from amateur to expert, as well as the renowned self-guided Cocktail Tours. More than 300 of the best bars across the capital will welcome cocktail lovers in to enjoy specially created cocktails for £6 to any festival pass holder, with venues encouraged to offer a lower-alcohol option, as well as a non-alcoholic option for £4, alongside their signature serve to promote the growing trend for mindful drinking.
