London Designer Outlet (LDO) at Wembley Park is making Christmas shopping easier than ever this year by becoming the first UK shopping centre to offer Dropit, the innovative app-based, store-to-door delivery service. And for many customers, the service will be free!
Launching on 1st December, the fully-insured service means customers don’t have to carry shopping bags around as they go, and includes delivery to their preferred address. It means they can shop, dine and relax; safe in the knowledge that their festive purchases will be safely delivered to their home, office or hotel. What’s more, to celebrate the launch of Dropit, LDO is offering the service for FREE when guests spend more than £125 anywhere across the centre, including in its stores, restaurants or even its cinema1. Customers will be offered their choice of delivery dates and time slots with delivery to any address in mainland Britain.
Research shows that customers still prefer to touch, test and try before they buy, as it takes so much of the guesswork out of their purchases. By introducing Dropit, LDO shoppers can enjoy the experience of big-brand low outlet prices and the convenience of having all their bags delivered when and where they want them, all in one go. Same-day deliveries are even available for those in a real hurry2.
Shopping hands-free means LDO guests have more time to relax and enjoy LDO’s 20 restaurants, bars and coffee shops, and its 9-screen Cineworld. It also helps those going to events at the neighbouring Wembley Stadium or SSE Arena. Both venues prefer visitors not to arrive with bags, so now LDO guests can shop safe in the knowledge that whatever they buy will soon be safely winging its way to them while they enjoy the event.
The store-to-door delivery service will be free for the first 3,000 customers to spend £125 at LDO, giving a real helping hand to festive shoppers getting ready for Christmas. The service otherwise costs only £10.50, for delivery of an unlimited number of LDO shopping bags all in one go to customers’ preferred location.
