London Designer Outlet, located in the heart of Wembley Park, is thrilled to announce the unveiling of a new mural installation to mark its 10th birthday year as the capital’s leading outlet shopping destination.
Designed by London artist Bee Davies, this vibrant artwork adds a touch of artistic brilliance to the centre’s exterior, captivating both visitors and passersby. Bee, who has been a Wembley Park resident for 3 years, takes her inspiration from people and her surroundings, combined with her love for colour and modern calligraphy. The striking mural, aptly named “Let’s Experience Together” seamlessly combines elements of street art and high fashion, serving as a visual representation of the outlet’s remarkable 10-year journey and its profound influence on the local fashion scene that has shaped its success.
Infused with vibrant colours, patterns and joyful imagery, the mural perfectly embodies the positive atmosphere that defines the London Designer Outlet, solidifying its reputation as a unique and inspiring shopping destination for the Wembley community and surrounding areas.
Bee Davies, the talented artist expresses her excitement about the project adding, “The idea for the London Designer Outlet commission was to create something that completely transforms the walkthrough area. We wanted to ensure continuity with the rest of the branding: keeping it bright and eye catching, but with my own illustrative flare.
I wanted to create something interactive with photo opportunities dotted throughout so that you can become a part of the artwork too – much like the local community depicted in the artwork. The piece aims to showcase what is so fantastic about the LDO in bringing the local community together to have fun, socialise and take part in the activities that are on offer. Being a local to the Wembley Park area – I hope this piece can bring joy to every passerby – both local and new!”.
Stretching across an entire building façade along Arena Walk, each component of the artwork symbolises inclusivity, diversity, and fusion of London Designer Outlet’s past and present-day offerings.
As part of the anniversary celebrations, London Designer Outlet will host a lineup of special events and exclusive promotions culminating in October, expressing gratitude to valued Guests and staff for their unwavering support.
