The North London Tavern has officially re-opened this week following a significant renovation, which has been designed to give the pub a refreshed contemporary look, while still retaining its traditional pub charm.

Located on Kilburn High Road, just a short walk away from both Kilburn and Brondesbury Station, the well-loved pub closed its doors for renovation at the end of June. The pub has since undergone a full-scale interior and exterior transformation by Greene King to give it a new lease of life.

The North London Tavern’s pub garden has been completely renovated with new lighting, seating, outdoor planters, and a refreshed colour scheme throughout. The outdoor space can now host up to 28 guests and comes at a perfect time for friends to enjoy drinks together during those summer evenings.

Other features include a fully refurbished bar area, new furniture, and a new bookable function room which will see an additional 40 covers, allowing visitors to host special occasions such as birthday parties, baby showers or quiz nights.

The North London Tavern is one of the oldest pubs in Kilburn and is known locally for its live music. Once opened, the pub will continue to host music events throughout the week, including open mic nights on Wednesdays, house DJ Stephen Bright on Fridays, as well as live music from Stephen Michael’s on Saturday evenings.

In addition to live music, the pub will entertain all major sporting events, quizzes, and even live comedy, offering ample opportunities for the local community to come down and enjoy everything the new look pub has to offer.

The reopening of the pub this summer will also create 10 new jobs in the local area including front of house and back of house staff.

Daniel Mintz, general manager of The North London Tavern, said: “We are so thrilled to unveil our brand-new look to the local community. The pub perfectly captures that traditional pub vibe but with some contemporary touches.

“The North London Tavern is home to a team of friendly and enthusiastic people, and we’re very much looking forward to welcoming back our regulars, the local community, as well as new guests who are yet to visit!”
