London Transport Museum has been shortlisted for the 2025 Family Friendly Museum Award, run by the charity Kids in Museums.
The award celebrates museums that go above and beyond to create welcoming, inclusive and memorable experiences for families — and London Transport Museum is proud to be recognised among the UK’s best.
Elizabeth McKay, Director and CEO of London Transport Museum, said: ‘We’re delighted to be shortlisted for the Family Friendly Museum Award 2025. London Transport Museum is a place to discover London and be part of its story — where red buses, interactive displays and more spark curiosity and connect generations. As an education and heritage charity, we’re proud to offer joyful, inclusive experiences that celebrate the ingenuity of London’s transport past and inspire young minds to shape its future. This recognition is a testament to the creativity and care our team puts into every visit, and we can’t wait to welcome even more families through our doors this summer.’
