Lydia Bright, Angellica Bell, Kate Lawler and a host of other famous faces came together this morning to celebrate the launch of Giovanna Fletcher’s new collection of children’s audiobooks, ‘Little Chapters of Chill Vol .2’ over a deliciously decadent two-course breakfast at The Ivy, Tower Bridge, London.

TOWIE favourite, Lydia Bright, was pictured in front of the picturesque flower wall with model, fellow mother and wife of McFly star Danny Jones, Georgia Jones, who was also there supporting her old friend from the years.

Giovanna Fletcher, Narrator of the Little Chapters of Chill Audiobooks comments: “It’s been lovely to chat to other parents as well as a few of my friends and family here today, and I’m grateful for everyone’s support as we launch the second series of ‘Little Chapters of Chill’ audiobooks.

“Like 2020, this year has been a really tricky one to navigate, with new lockdowns, new rules and then learning how to embrace normal life again. As a parent, I’ve seen the uncertainty and confusion affect my children in different ways. It’s been hard as a parent to know what you can do to help them when you’re also trying to get to grips with the ups and downs of life. The juggle has been more intense than every before. This second series is a really great way to start a conversation about mindfulness as a family – it’s a campaign I really believe in and one that has helped so many people already, so I’m very excited to bring it to the ears of children of again!”

Amongst the group of well-known mums and dads, Little Chapters of Churchill co-narrator and popular TV Presenter, Angellica Bell, was also there celebrating the launch of the new audiobook collection.

Angellica says: “It’s exciting to be bringing the second series of these audiobooks to children and parents just in time for the return of the school-run and last-minute staycations. I was thrilled to be asked to be part of this campaign, especially as the last eighteen months has thrown up different challenges for many parents and carers. This is a great way to help young people prepare for life as it was before the pandemic.”

The audiobook series which were written by author Sue Pickford and brought to life by the voices of Giovanna Fletcher, Emma Willis and Angellica Bell, comprises five short stories following the adventures of Churchie, Churchill’s iconic mascot. Inspired by the different elements of nature, the books are specifically designed to help children relax, with each one including a mindfulness technique that children can easily carry out while listening to the audio books in the car.

Kirsty Hoad, Head of Marketing, Churchill “Following the success of the first series of Little Chapters of Chill, we knew we wanted to use the platform again this year, but to update it with stories that children can not only relate to but find a sense of escapism with. With the return back to schools imminent, the second series is really timely and hopefully will help smooth the transition back to ‘normal’ life for children – and make it as stress free for parents as possible.”

The first series, which was also written by Sue Pickford, achieved number one podcast in Apple podcast’s family & kids’ chart*, number one branded podcast in the UK on Apple podcasts launch* and number one in the ‘Stories for Kids’ category. What is more, the series was picked up by schools, councils, libraries and the NHS across the UK, being seen as an essential tool for their health and welfare online resources.
