London City Lionesses will return to the CopperJax Community Stadium on 26 September for their second home fixture of the 2026/27 Barclays Women’s Super League season, taking on Brighton & Hove Albion WFC at 5pm.
Following a historic debut campaign in the topflight, London City enter their second WSL season with a squad featuring some of the most recognisable names in world football, including two-time Ballon d’Or winner Alexia Putellas and England goalkeeper and BBC Sports Personality of the Year winner Mary Earps.
Supporters heading to the CopperJax will be able to make a day of the occasion, with activities and entertainment taking place around the stadium from 2pm and the Club’s Family Fanzone opening at 3pm.
The Fanzone will offer a mix of football challenges and family activities, with supporters able to test their skills at Top Bins and Goal Target challenges, take on friends at Sub-Soccer and try the Catch It reflex game. Face painting, arts and crafts, a photobooth and LCL selfie mirror will also be available, alongside live entertainment from Sassy Brass and a selection of food and drink vendors.
Fans arriving early can also pick up matchday giveaways, including programmes, posters and bang bang sticks, while the entertainment will continue at half-time with limited-edition prizes fired into the stands from the Club’s merchandise cannon.
The day will extend beyond the final whistle, with Broomfields hosting a special family-friendly England versus Spain watch along. Bringing together the Club’s English and Spanish connections, supporters will be able to watch the international fixture on the big screen with food, drink and entertainment available.
