Forget the meal deal before your train – London Victoria is about to get a much tastier alternative. This October, Market Place Food Hall Victoria will officially open on Friday 16 October, bringing the UK’s first-ever food hall inside a railway station to one of the capital’s busiest transport hubs.

And, unlike a traditional station food stop, guests won’t need to worry about missing their train, with live train departure screens inside the food hall allowing commuters to keep an eye on their journey while they eat, drink and relax.

Located inside Victoria Station’s Victoria Place Shopping Centre, with entrances via the main station concourse, the taxi rank, and Eccleston Bridge, Market Place Food Hall will offer 10 independent global food traders, dishing up flavours from around the world alongside cocktails, craft beer and live sport.

With 180 seats, the new venue is designed to transform the traditional station food experience – whether guests are grabbing a quick bite before a train, meeting friends after work or settling in to watch the big game all are welcome at the new family friendly dog-friendly venue.

To celebrate the launch, guests can look out for exclusive opening offers and giveaways on Market Place Food Hall’s socials throughout the first month of the venue opening. From FREE food and drink to Happy Hour deals and rewards for new customers, there will be plenty of reasons to make a trip to Victoria.
The new opening builds on Market Place Food Hall’s reputation as one of London’s go-to food and social destinations, with celebrities including Top Gear’s James May, The Only Way Is Essex star Georgia Harrison and singer and TV personality Fleur East all having been spotted dining or stopping for a drink at Market Place Food Hall locations across the capital.

From Mexican Tacos to Argentinean grills and authentic Greek dishes to Japanese street food, Nigerian flavours and Caribbean favourites, the diverse trader line-up will give commuters and visitors plenty of reasons to stop, stay and return.

Holly Hilton, Marketing Director at Market Place Food Hall, said: “Victoria is one of the busiest stations in the country, so we wanted to create something that feels completely different from the usual train station food experience. We want to make grabbing a proper meal before your train just as quick and easy as standing in a queue to pay for a meal deal, but with 10 independent food traders, great drinks and a proper place to sit and enjoy it. And because we have the live departure screen inside the food hall, you can even sit back with a pint, keep an eye on your train and know exactly when it’s time to head to the platform. It’s about making the journey feel like part of the experience, rather than something you simply rush through.”

Market Place Food Hall Victoria joins the brand’s growing portfolio of London venues, which includes Leicester Square, St Paul’s, Vauxhall, Harrow and Peckham. Market Place Food Hall Victoria officially opens Friday 16 October 2026.
