THIS May half term children in London will have the chance to make new friends and try a wide range of fun activities at Camp Beaumont.
The UK’s most experienced day camp provider is now taking bookings for the upcoming school break and has lots of fun lined up to get children active, outdoors and learning new skills.
From adventurous activities like archery, to artistic expressions in jewellery making and clay workshops and more active games in Capture the Flag, Camp Beaumont is continuing to deliver all the fun of a multi-activity camp in a safe and controlled way in line with government guidelines.
Children will also get the chance to learn about technology and science by building robots or learning how to code, all while learning about compassion, empathy, teamwork and collaboration using Twin Science kits, as part of a new Camp Beaumont partnership.
Jof Gaughan, Executive Director at Camp Beaumont, said: “For over 40 years, Camp Beaumont has been offering vital childcare solutions for busy working families as well as awesome adventures for thousands of children throughout the school holidays – and this has now become more important than ever.
“There are a huge range of activities available at our camps in London and the surrounding areas, everything from junior yoga and mindfulness classes through to clay workshops and archery. There really is something for everyone. The activities are pure escapism and help children to have fun with their friends free from the pressures of everyday life.
He added: “We’re also really excited about our new partnership with Twin Science to help introduce children to the world of technology. It is such a fantastic opportunity for children to expand their knowledge and also learn more about themselves and how to interact with others as part of a team through play.
“Introducing these kits into our camps means children not only learn about robotics or science, but also vital life skills such as problem-solving and creative thinking, which is so important to us at Camp Beaumont.”
Camp Beaumont will be running across 15 locations including Christ’s School, Ark Putney and Ursuline Prep School. Prices start from £52 for a one-day pass.
