Meet local new wave rapper Tony Humphries


Tony Humphries is a new wave hip-hop rapper who has already established himself as a rare breed of talented freestyler.

He has received multiple radio plays including features on BBC Introducing, Eagle Radio and Round House Radio. After his live session for BBC Introducing the South, Tony was chosen as a Pick of the Year for his tracks “Life is Changing Me” and “Change for Yourself”.  

His music has also featured in Kerrang! Magazine, Rocksound Magazine, CD and Front magazine and he’s currently leading up to releasing his debut album. 

His recent gigs have included Independent Music Day Festival in Camden, a packed out Boileroom in Guildford and 3 sold out shows in Germany where he had the mayor of Eberbach moshing and singing along with the crowd.
