Lead singer of the world-famous Osmond family, Merrill Osmond, has announced a brand-new live album for 2021, Merrill Osmond – Live In London, alongside an extensive UK tour.
Merrill Osmond – Live In London was recorded during a socially distanced concert at Indigo at the O2 last month. One of the first American artists to perform live to a UK audience since the beginning of the pandemic, the album will be released on 6th August.
A celebration of Merrill’s long and immensely successful career, both as a solo artist and a member of the globally renowned Osmonds, Merill Osmond – Live In London features covers of some of the greatest songs of all time, such as Can’t Help Falling In Love, Superstition, Ain’t No Sunshine and Born To Be Wild. The album also features live renditions of the Osmonds biggest hits, including One Bad Apple, Let Me In, Love Me For A Reason, The Proud One, and Crazy Horses.
Merrill will also embark on a huge UK tour for 2021, running across 5 months and calling at a staggering 25 venues. Starting at the Stables in Milton Keynes on 11th August, the tour will see Merrill perform at the some of the country’s most stunning theatres and music venues, including two evenings at Pizza Express Live in London’s Soho, before closing at Eastleigh’s Concorde on 5th December.
Throughout his 60-year career, Merrill has sung lead vocals on 27 gold records, and produced and written 5 #1 singles with his brothers Alan and Wayne. In total, the Osmonds have produced 47 Platinum and Gold records, to this day holding the record for the most Gold albums released in a single year.
Now celebrating his 62nd year in show business, Merrill continues to entertain audiences alongside his excellent band in both the UK and America.
