Getting to London Luton Airport (LLA) from London will cost less than a supermarket meal deal this autumn, as National Express launches 10,000 £2 coach fares in partnership with LLA.
Travellers planning their autumn getaway can take advantage of £2 coach tickets, offering great value fares from London to the airport. The special discounted fare is available to book from 1 September until 31 October, and valid for travel from 15 September – 10 December 2026.
Passengers can choose from 49 direct daily services connecting the airport from nine locations across London, including Victoria, Baker Street, Paddington, Marble Arch, St John’s Wood, Finchley Road and Golders Green.
With journeys taking as little as 40 minutes*, holidaymakers can travel directly to the terminal door, providing an affordable, convenient and sustainable public transport option.
Rafael Fernandez, Managing Director of National Express, said:
“We’re delighted to be working with London Luton Airport to make travelling to the airport even more affordable this autumn. With household budgets continuing to be under pressure, our £2 fares give customers the opportunity to get from London to the airport for less than the cost of a supermarket meal deal.
“Our frequent, reliable services offer a comfortable and stress-free way to travel, with customers able to sit back, relax and let our drivers take them directly to the terminal. We’re also pleased to support LLA’s sustainability goals by encouraging more people to choose public transport when travelling to the airport.”
Mark Jennings, Interim Director of Non Aeronautical Revenue at London Luton Airport, said:
“This initiative is an example of the many ways London Luton Airport is working with coach, bus and rail operators to encourage more sustainable journeys for those travelling to the airport. We know that convenience is key for the millions of passengers who travel from LLA each year and our ever-growing network of public transport connections provides a viable alternative to taking the car. Affordability will always be another priority for people, and we are delighted to support this exciting, cost-saving initiative to ensure the simple and friendly passenger experience we work hard to deliver each day gets off to the best possible start for National Express customers.”
The £2 fares are available on one-way services from London to LLA and must be booked at least 14 days before travel. Customers are encouraged to book early as the offer is subject to availability.
