An exciting new drinks venue celebrating the heritage of one of the most lavish theatres in London has opened in Leicester Square just in time for New Year’s Eve.
The Backstage Bar at Grosvenor Casinos’ The Rialto club will bring a brand-new proposition to the Grade II listed building in the heart of Piccadilly, completely transforming the space within the current casino.
To celebrate the opening, Heart Radio’s Toby Anstis will be getting the party started with a headline DJ set and good vibes from 9pm until late. Tickets for The Backstage Bar New Year’s Eve celebrations are £20 with complimentary bubbles for midnight.
Mark Crockett, General Manager at The Rialto, said: “We’re thrilled to be launching this exciting new space at The Rialto, transforming it into a brand-new food, drinks and entertainment venue in London’s West End.

The Backstage Bar offering will be split into a mezzanine level and a main bar area. The mezzanine level is created for local professionals, tourists and passers-by to enjoy a glass of prosecco, a boozy afternoon tea or a pre-theatre light bite.
The main bar area has been designed to come to life after dark, positioning itself as the go-to venue in the West End. Whether it’s for Fizz Fridays or live music on a Saturday night, there will be a regular calendar of entertainment.
